Funny that patents are now built on circumventing other patents. (no, I didn’t look it up, no idea what the patent thicket on MPEG looks like.) Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like if people actually made stuff, instead of suing each other. Then I realize I don’t believe in god, and get back to work.
